How local processing works

Supported tools read and modify files in your browser. MagicPDF does not upload PDF bytes, extracted text, metadata, or passwords to a processing service.

  • Choose files directly from this device.
  • Review each tool's options and honest capability notes.
  • Download the result or keep it in the local workspace.

Working offline

A service worker caches the application and enabled route documents after a successful online load. Once that cache is ready, reopen the installed or previously loaded app to continue working without a network connection.

Clearing site data removes that cache. Visit MagicPDF online once more before relying on offline use again.

Passwords and sensitive input

Passwords are used only in this tab to unlock or encrypt the selected PDF. MagicPDF does not log them, recover forgotten passwords, or attempt brute-force unlocking.

Know what a tool changes

A visual signature is a visible stamp, not a certificate-backed digital signature. Cropping changes the visible page area but does not permanently erase hidden content. Roadmap features remain labelled as unavailable until they are implemented and verified.

Privacy summary — MagicPDF processes files in your browser. No accounts, no analytics, no third-party scripts. The footer's network-panel link shows every observed outbound request. Deleting local data in Settings clears the app's cache and verifies the surface is empty.
